Moti Doongri Fort - History details

Moti Doongri in Jaipur is a hilltop complex consisting of a private palace and two renowned temples, the Moti Doongri Ganesh Temple and the Shiva Temple. Although the palace itself is the private property of the royal family and is generally closed to the public, the temples at the foot and summit of the hill are popular pilgrimage sites. Built in the 1700s, Moti Doongri Fort served as a royal residence and defense post. Located on a hilltop, it offers panoramic views of Jaipur. The fort reflects Rajput architecture and remains a cultural landmark.
