Moti Daman Beach ( Jampore Stretch ) - History details

South of Moti Daman, the coast popularly called Jampore Beach has soft, dark sand, casuarina groves and a very long inter‑tidal flat revealed at low tide. Five kilometres from Moti Daman Jetty, it developed as a leisure front after Portuguese control ended in 1961. Interesting fact: camel/horse rides and seasonal water sports animate weekends; visit November–February for mild weather and calmer seas.
