Konda Pochamma Reservoir Markook - History details

Inaugurated in 2020 as part of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project, this reservoir was named after the local deity Kondapochamma.Located near Markook in Siddipet district, it has a capacity of 15 TMC and a water spread area of 17 sq km.It supplies water to Hyderabad and irrigates thousands of acres, As also emerging as a scenic tourist destination.
