Karmatang Beach - History details

Karmatang Beach is a renowned nesting ground for several species of sea turtles and is located near the town of Mayabunder, in the Middle Andaman region. Though it is often referred to as being in the Nicobar region, it is actually in the Andaman Islands. Known as "Turtle Paradise," it is a quiet, pristine beach suitable for relaxing, picnicking, and witnessing turtle nesting during the breeding season.
