Kangra Fort - History details
Kangra Fort, built by the Katoch dynasty, is India’s oldest Himalayan fort. With temples from 9th–10th century, it witnessed invasions by Mahmud Ghazni and Mughal rulers. Its hilltop location between Manjhi and Banganga Rivers made it strategically vital.
