Jambu Zoo - History details

Inaugurated on 29 May 2023 by LG Manoj Sinha, Jambu Zoo spreads across ~163 ha near Nagrota on NH‑44. Conceived for conservation education, it features enclosures for leopard, Himalayan black bear, deer and gharial, plus hill viewpoints, battery carts and family facilities. Its highway location makes it a popular stop for travellers bound for Vaishno Devi and Kashmir. Weekly off: Tuesday.
