A roadside perch above the Beas on the Manali–Rohtang highway, Gulaba becomes a seasonal snow point when higher traffic is curtailed. Expect chilly winds and valley panoramas around 2,500–2,800 m; permits apply if proceeding toward Rohtang. Best light: mornings; peak snow play is Dec–Feb or early summer after late storms.
