Built in 1897 by the Nizam, Fox Sagar Lake was once a major source of drinking water for Secunderabad and a popular picnic spot.Located near Jeedimetla, it spans about 2 sq km but has shrunk due to encroachments and pollution.Despite urbanization, the lake attracts birdwatchers and is undergoing restoration to revive its ecological and heritage value.
