Bharhut Stupa - History details
The Bharhut Stupa was an ancient Buddhist monument known for its elaborate carvings and narrative reliefs. As originally built in the 3rd century BCE, most of its railings and gateways were dismantled and moved to museums after its discovery. The site is located in the Satna district of Madhya Pradesh, where only ruins remain today.
