The Bateshwar Group of Temples, located in the Morena district of Madhya Pradesh, is a cluster of nearly 200 ancient sandstone Hindu temples. These architectural marvels were built between the 8th and 10th centuries by the Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty. Situated in the Chambal river valley ravines near the village of Padavali, the temples are dedicated primarily to the gods Shiva and Vishnu.
