Kupwara’s high meadows at ~10,000 ft spread across Bodh (Big) Bangus and Lokut (Small) Bangus—an elliptical bowl west of Handwara. The valley hosts streams like Roshan Kul and Tillwan Kul feeding the Kamil–Pohru river system.
