Badl Mahal Chanderi - History details
The Badal Mahal in Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, is an iconic, freestanding stone gateway, or darwaza, built around 1450 CE during the Malwa Sultanate period. It is believed to have been the ceremonial entrance to a now-lost "Cloud Palace," giving the gate its name. The monument is located in the Ashoknagar district of Chanderi.
