Zafar Mahal, Delhi - History details
Zafar Mahal is the last great Mughal monument, built in the early 19th century by Emperor Akbar II and later used by Bahadur Shah Zafar. Located in Mehrauli, South Delhi, it served as a summer palace. The monument stands beside Mughal tombs. An interesting fact is that Bahadur Shah Zafar wished to be buried here.
