Jaipur Column - History details
Jaipur Column is a 145‑foot memorial built between 1912–1930, sponsored by Maharaja Madho Singh II and designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Located at Rashtrapati Bhavan forecourt on Raisina Hill, it commemorates the 1911 Delhi Durbar and capital shift. It features a bronze lotus and Star of India.
